Sir'Real Smith Making History: 500 Points In A Single Season
On Wednesday night against Muskegon Community College, Sir'Real Smith etched his name into the record books, becoming a 500-point scorer in a single season for the 2025-26 campaign, and he did it like it was just another night at the office.
Needing only eight points to hit the milestone, Smith wasted no time reminding everyone why he's one of the most dangerous scorers in the region. Averaging an eye-popping 32.7 points per game, Sir'Real has been absolutely unstoppable, shooting 54.5% from the field, 42.0% from three, and 72.0% at the free-throw line. Pick your poison; he scores it from everywhere.
His dominance hasn't gone unnoticed, earning multiple MCCAA Northern Player of the Week honors and a NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week award along the way.
Sir'Real Smith isn't just exceeding expectations, he's setting the standard.
"Sir'Real continues to establish himself as one of the most dynamic guards in the NJCAA, leading JUCO D2 in scoring with efficiency and toughness on both ends of the floor. He has set the standard for Delta players moving forward. His commitment to his craft, his teammates, and his leadership is second to none. This milestone is just another step toward what we believe will be a big future for him" - Head Coach Brandon Bennett
