The Delta College Men's Basketball Team defended its home court with a 78–63 victory over Kirtland Community College in conference action.
Delta used balanced scoring and steady defensive pressure to control the game, holding Kirtland to 42.3% shooting from the field and forcing 13 turnovers. The Pioneers built momentum throughout the night by attacking the paint, moving the ball well, and capitalizing at the free-throw line.
Sir'Real Smith led all scorers with 32 points, knocking down 9-of-10 free throws while adding 9 rebounds and 4 assists in a strong all-around performance. Jimmy McCrum added 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals, while Dovydas Kačinskas provided a spark off the bench with 9 points on 3-of-4 shooting from beyond the arc. Justin Watson also finished with 9 points, and Deontrey Gary contributed 8 assists to help orchestrate the offense.
Delta finished with a 39–31 rebounding advantage and recorded 21 assists on 27 made field goals, showcasing strong team play on both ends of the floor.
