The Delta College Men's Basketball Team fell at home to Bay College, 92–65, in conference play on February 21.
Bay College set the tone early, building a 46–28 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and strong ball movement. The visitors continued their momentum in the second half, finishing the night shooting 50.7% from the field and 16–38 (42.1%) from three-point range. Bay also recorded 32 assists on 36 made baskets, keeping Delta's defense on its heels throughout the contest.
Sir'Real Smith led the Pioneers with 15 points and 9 rebounds, while Darrion Youngblood added 13 points on 5–9 shooting. Deontrey Gary contributed 12 points off the bench, and Dovydas Kačinskas provided 9 points on an efficient 3–4 from the field. Delta shot 38.2% from the floor and connected on 8–25 from beyond the arc while finishing a perfect 5–5 from the free-throw line.
Despite forcing 15 turnovers and recording 11 steals, the Pioneers were outrebounded 44–25 and struggled to keep pace with Bay's perimeter shooting and second-chance opportunities.
