Delta Ties For 2nd at Henry Ford Invitational

Delta College Men's Golf team continues to improve as they tied for 2nd place at the Henry Ford College Golf Invitational held Monday, September 17 at the Taylor Meadows Golf Club in Taylor, Michigan. The Pioneers posted a team score of 299 which tied them with the Mott Bears. Oakland Community College won the event with a score of 289.

Cooper Benson (Delta), Jack Williams (Oakland), and Noah Robinson (Mott) all carded a score of 69 to finish tied for first place in individual scoring. Other scores from Delta players included JJ Gross with a 75, Scott Sura with a 77 and Leeland McMartin with a 78. Representing Delta as an extra player was Devin Bayne. Devin posted a 77 to keep pace with Scott Sura.

Delta's next match will be played at Bedford Valley Golf Club in Battle Creek, Michigan on Friday September 28.
