DELTA GOLF TEAM TAKES EIGTH AT 2024 NJCAA DIII GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

June 4-7, 2024 the golf team traveled to Chautauqua, NY to compete in the NJCAA Divison lll Championship. The team performed well and shot two of their lowest team scores of the season.

The teams results from the four rounds were:

• Round 1: 341
• Round 2: 326
• Round 3: 328
• Round 4: 344

Totaling 1339 and leading them to an eigth place finish.

The results of the five individuals that traveled to Chautauqua, NY to compete are:

• Nathan Cleghorn shooting a total of 319 and finishing tied for 23rd place.
• Kevin Groulx shooting a 330 and finishing in 43rd place.
• Jacob Look shooting a 339 and finsihing tied for 50th place.
• Brayden Tacey shooting a 357 and finsihing tied for 65th place.
• Nolan Hitts shooting a 369 and finsihing in 71st place.

As four of these student-athletes are freshman, Coach Eli Parrent stated "I am so proud of all the things this group accomplished this season and we are already looking forward to next season."
