Halstead shines for Delta College Men’s Golf at the Kirtland Invitational

The Delta College Men's Golf Team delivered a strong performance at the Kirtland Community College Invitational, held Monday at Grayling Country Club. Competing against a field of nine teams and several individual golfers, Delta tied for third place overall. 

Team captain Owen Halstead led the way with an impressive round of 72, earning medalist honors for the lowest individual score of the day. Ben Groulx followed with a 76, while Talan Bailey shot an 81. Grady Seltz and Jacob Parker each carded an 83, Carson Shampo posted an 87, Cole Brady an 88, and Havon Szul a 94. The team finished with a combined score of 664. 

Delta's showing continues to build momentum for the fall season, demonstrating consistency and promise against a competitive field.
