PIONEERS GET BIG WIN ON THE ROAD

Game Outcome: 
Delta College traveled to a talented new GRCC team.  Their athleticism and skill was a good challenge for the Pioneers.  Delta would score three goals in the first half to give them a comfortable lead.  They would score three more goals in the second half to earn a 6-0 victory.  This win brings Delta's record to 9-0-0 in the conference and 11-0-0 overall, which keeps them in first place in the MCCAA.

 
Standout Players of the Game:

The three goals and one assist by Macy Kammer helped lead the Pioneers to another very important victory.  Kiah Nichols added 2 goals and 2 assists to secure this win.

Highlights from The game:
Three critical first half goals, and solid defensive play was important for this conference victory.  This win keeps the Pioneers in a 1 game lead in the MCCAA standings.

Coach's Comments:
Coach Damon Amey continues to be happy with these important wins.  With this victory, we continue to stay on top of the conference standings.  We are focused and dedicated to keep our game at the highest level possible.

Adjustments for the next Game:
Delta will continue to work on offensive creativity, accurate passing, and the ability to play a controlled combination game in the final attacking third of the field.  The Pioneers will be hosting GRCC on Wednesday the 20th.  The Pioneers currently have a #3 National ranking.
