Delta Dominates Over Lake Michigan College

The Delta College Women's Soccer team continued its strong start to the season with a strong 12–0 victory over Lake Michigan College on Saturday, September 13th. With this result, the Pioneers improved to 3–0 in conference play and 4–0–1 overall.
The scoring opened just 1 minute and 24 seconds into the match, with Alahna Beckett finishing off an assist from Sydney Lambert, the first of Beckett's two goals on the day. Additional goals came from Bella Workman, Alahna Beckett, Anna Weston, and two from Maddie Gracias. Assists were credited to Alahna Beckett, Sydney Lambert, Avery Dean, and Marcela Facundo.
The team posted 15 total shots, while the defense limited Lake Michigan to just two shots, one in each half. Goalkeepers Mia Warner and Niobe Marchalant combined for the clean sheet.
