Delta College Women's Soccer Advances to the National Tournament!
Rochester, Minnesota - It was championship weekend in Rochester, Minnesota, for the Pioneers Soccer Team. They dominated from start to finish with game one shutting out Anoka-Ramsey Community College 10-0 on Friday night at Rochester Community and Technical Center.
The Pioneers set the score 1-0 with Alahna Beckett opening the scoring with an assist from Brooke Swartz.
The Pioneers continued their offensive attack with Alahna Beckett scoring once again with an assist from Molly Siler. Isabella Workman got a scoring opportunity in the game. The offensive attack didn't stop there; seven total Pioneers scored in the game: Alahna Beckett, Isabella Workman, Anna Weston, Paige Freed, Brooke Swartz, Marcela Facundo, and Ayla Kreger.
The standout players for the game were Anna Weston with 1 goal and two assists, Molly Siler with two assists, and Mia Warner and Niobe Marchalant, who combined for a clean sheet.

The Delta College Women's Soccer Team continued their dominant postseason run. In the Midwest District Championship, the Pioneers faced Joliet Junior College, earning a 3-1 victory over the Wolves to secure the title.
Brooke Swartz opened the scoring in the 24th minute, assisted by Isabella Workman, giving Delta an early lead. Isabella Workman then found the back of the net in the 35th minute with an assist from Alahna Beckett, putting the Pioneers up 2-0 heading into halftime.
In the second half, Victoria Davila scored for Joliet in the 55th minute, but the Pioneers quickly responded as Alahna Beckett sealed the game in the 63rd minute off an assist from Sydney Lambert.
The Pioneers outshot the Wolves 22-1, including 11 shots on goal compared to 1 from Joliet. Mia Warner played a full 90 minutes in goal, facing 1 shot and allowing 1 goal.
The offensive push was led by Alahna Beckett (4 shots, 4 on goal, 1 goal, 1 assist), Brooke Swartz (3 shots, 3 on goal, 1 goal), and Isabella Workman (2 shots, 2 on goal, 1 goal, 1 assist). Sydney Lambert also contributed 1 assist.
They move on to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Herkimer, New York from November 11 – November 16
