Played high school baseball for head coach Marty Cartwright...played summer ball for the Grand Rapids A's and head coach Jim Abbott...earned 10 varsity letters in high school, three each in football and basketball and four in baseball....was named to the All-Area Dream Team as the Captain for baseball in 2015...also selected All-District, All-Region and the  Record Eagle Dream Team Captain, 1st Team All-Conference,  and 2015 Big North Conference Player of the Year.... was part of back to back undefeated regular seasons in 2013 and 2014 in football....named  All-Area Dream Team Captain, 1st Team All-Conference, Record Eagle Dream Team, and All-State honorable mention senior year...member of three state semifinalist teams in basketball....named All-Area Dream Team and All-Conference honorable mention...Best baseball memory was throwing a perfect game against conference foe Gaylord HS...enjoys snowmobiling, skiing, golfing, and watching sports in his spare time...majoring in business....son of Pete and Julie Finch...has one sister, Ali.
